Centrist group of senators offers $1 trillion infrastructure compromise

A bipartisan group of 10 Senate Democrats and Republicans have reached their own deal on infrastructure. It’s a $1 trillion, five-year package to improve the country’s roads, bridges, pipes and Internet connections.
