Diesel average heads down after first gain in eight weeks

With a 0.004-cent decline, the national diesel average now stands at $3.051 per gallon. This comes on the heels of a 1.3-cent gain last week and 0.001-cent and 2.7-cent declines, respectively, over the previous two weeks.
