Over the course of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and especially in recent months, there has been a common theme for many supply chain stakeholders: inventory management and replenishment. There are various factors for that, of course, but most go back to the rapid upswing in demand early on in the pandemic for basic household items such as paper towels, toilet paper, certain food and dairy commodities, in addition to a whole host of other consumer packaged goods (CPG), among others.
