Total POLA volume––at 861,081 TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units)––was up 4.2% annually and marked the highest volume for the month of August in the 112-year history of the port. POLB August volumes came in at 663,992 TEU, which was down 2.3% annually. Even with the decline, this marked the fifth best volume month at the port.
